KT Pe Benito earned a BFA from Cooper Union (2016), and was a recipient of the Osage Nation Higher Education Scholarship. They have exhibited their work internationally including a group exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland, at David Dale Gallery (2019), Queens Museum, Queens, NY (2018-19) Flux Factory, Queens, NY (2017), and Long Island City Arts Open, Queens, NY (2017). They have performed at Abrons Arts Center, New York, NY (2019) Performance Space, New York, NY (2018), Final Fantasy Reading Series, Brooklyn, NY (2018) amongst other project spaces and performance venues. KT Pe Benito has been a Fellow in the Hemispheric Institute EmergeNYC program.

KT is employed as the Queer|Art|Prize Manager and formerly worked as the Programs & Operations Assistant at Queer|Art which is currently situated on unceded Lenapehoking otherwise known as East Village, Lower East Side, New York City.

They have also been a former Dance Block Program Manager and Communications Coordinator with Fourth Arts Block. You've probably seen them work at the SoHo location of Opening Ceremony too, but we don't talk about that.
